
2026 2nd International Conference on Smart Energy and Control Engineering
The 2026 2nd International Conference on Smart Energy and Control Engineering (SECE 2026) was successfully concluded on April 12, 2026, in Wenzhou, China. The conference was held from April 10 to 12 at the Crown Mingyue Hotel Wenzhou (Longwan Yiyu Square Branch), bringing together researchers, scholars, and industry professionals to exchange the latest advancements in smart energy and control engineering.

The conference was honored to feature three distinguished scholars as keynote speakers. Prof. Jianmin Zhang from Hangzhou Dianzi University, an IEEE Senior Member, delivered an in-depth presentation on "AI Application in Large-scale New Energy Urban Power Distribution System," sharing his expertise in smart grid situational awareness and new power system planning. Prof. Guofeng He from Henan University of Urban Construction, Associate Dean of the School of Electrical and Control Engineering, presented his cutting-edge work titled "Research on Collaborative Optimal Control Strategy for Active Disturbance Rejection and Resonance Suppression of Microgrid Converters," drawing from his extensive research on microgrid power conversion and intelligent control. Assoc. Prof. Junjun Xu from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, provided valuable insights with his speech on "Key Technologies for Self-Healing Control of Renewable Energy-Integrated Distribution Systems," addressing critical challenges in distribution network situational awareness and cyber-physical system security.

Following the keynote sessions, the oral presentation session featured six emerging researchers: Haoju Liu from Southeast University, who presented on "Calcium Looping Sorption-Enhanced Biomass Gasification: Study on the Preparation and Performance of Multi-element Co-modified Calcium-based Sorbents"; Kai Zhou from Nanjing Tech University, who delivered a talk on "Leakage-Explosion Characteristics Analysis and Overpressure Prediction Model Construction for Natural Gas Reforming Hydrogen Plants"; along with four additional presenters whose works were featured in the conference program.

The conference program included a series of well-organized sessions: an opening ceremony, keynote speeches, oral presentations, and networking breaks, providing ample opportunities for scholarly interaction. The event was sponsored by Wenzhou University of Technology and technically supported by the IEEE. , with the organizing committee chaired by Prof. Xingen Hu (Wenzhou University of Technology), Prof. Min Wu (China University of Geosciences), and Prof. Furong Zhu (Hong Kong Baptist University). The technical program was chaired by Prof. Fengjun Chen (Wenzhou University of Technology), Prof. Bo Wang (Wuhan University), and Prof. Guohong Wu (Tohoku Gakuin University, Japan).
